I was first introduced to home education 4 years ago, when my autistic brother was unable to cope in a mainstream school. Since deregistering him, we have seen a huge improvement in his mental well-being and his ability to learn new things.
I have a background in SEND services, previously running a respite and enabling business has given me an insight into the huge struggles families of neurodivergent children are facing.
I have now moved away from providing respite services. Instead, I am focusing on improving life for neurodivergent home-educated children and their families. This is shown in Neuronest South West CIC and also my work outside of the CIC; where I offer advice and support in various aspects of SEND life.

I’m a qualified teacher who left the classroom nearly two years ago to home educate my neurodivergent children, after seeing first-hand how mainstream education was failing to meet—or even acknowledge—their needs. That experience led me to found InvisAble InkEd, where I now work as a specialist SEND tutor supporting children who are home educated or unable to attend school.
As a neurodivergent adult, a parent of neurodivergent children, and a professional working with neurodivergent young people, I’m deeply passionate about creating learning environments that are truly responsive to individual needs. My work is rooted in autonomy, connection, and respect. I believe education should be co-created with the learner, not imposed on them.
Drawing on both lived and professional experience, I developed my own model for learning, which forms the foundation of my tutoring approach. Through this, I aim to offer children opportunities to thrive on their own terms—beyond the constraints of traditional systems.
Alongside my work with Neuronest South West CIC and InvisAble InkEd, I’m currently working towards a PhD in Creative Writing.
